 Chapter thirty six:

Next Chapter

Previous Chapter

She dressed herself up in a maroon gown, and wore her favorite emerald necklace. She applied rouge and red lipstick. She adorned herself with the same touch she used to do, after a long time she adorned herself. She was alive again. It was Ben again who resurrected the woman in her. The last touch was a pair of maroon stilettos that completed her bewitching look.
She opened the door and found Ben waiting for her. Ben who himself was stunningly dressed in his formal two piece of black and white was shocked for a moment. His eyes were glued on her and he did not say anything.
''What am I that ugly?'' Tina approached him and waved her hand in front of his eyes.
''No I cannot believe this, the woman that went in that room was Tina and who came out is my Tina. The Tina that I knew since forever. You are forever beautiful for me, it never matters what you wore but today I am with my woman and this is the greatest gift on earth I could ever have.'' he placed his hand around her back.
She placed her hands around his neck, ''That is too much of an appreciation and if I may remind you we can do this later let's go now and wait,'' she paused and began talking to the potter, ''Take all the luggage s from this room to Mr. Brown's.'' she handed him her key card.
Ben was being surprised at every moment. He couldn't believe what was happening. He couldn't accept such happiness that easily because he knew his life gave him more sorrows than the least bit of anything he wanted but now it seemed like that life was paying it's debt to him. When Tina was around him he felt like he had the world , now that they were more than friends made him so happy he couldn't be anymore happy. Walking beside her was making him so proud that he couldn't explain this feeling. He felt as the luckiest man on earth.

A fine table of two was awaiting them and they sat and ate together. Although they ate less and talked more. After doing quite some drinking they couldn't just sit there and went to their room. Now they both were in the same room. Ben carried her to the bedroom as she had drank plenty.
His room was filled with her scent and her clothes were beside his. When he opened his eyes he would see her. If this was a dream than god I never want to wake up. He said to himself looking at her during the night. He would wake up in the middle of the night to make sure it was real and hell yeah it was real. She would smile back at him and kiss him. Her hair would scatter over his face and he would know it is all true and not a fantasy. This was more than his dreams could offer, for he never even thought all about this ever in even in his wildest dream.
''Tins?'' they both were having lunch near the hotel's pool when Ben asked her.
''Yes?'' she said with a mouthful of sandwich.
''What happened in the fortune teller's shop that changed you?''
Tina laughed and then she wiped her mouth with a tissue and looked at him,''It is not about that it all has to do with you. You changed me because your love never changed. It is as same as it was when we were together and I wasn't married. It remained the same after I married. It remained the same although I am also a mother. I would say that it is the power of your love that brought me to you. Your love grew stronger and stronger for me after each day yet that I was a mother and your love instead of fading grew stronger. You love me and you love everything that is from me. You love my daughter as if she's your daughter. I still remember when Jenny said to me that day that if I hadn't married Taylor Liz would be your and mine daughter. I was so mad at her when she said that to me but now I understand it completely. Although it would be a gift for us to have a daughter.'' she smirked at him and he cupped her face in his hands and kissed her passionately. With all his love. She kissed him back with the same.

It was their last day in Paris and they had to leave tomorrow. Liz was missing them both and Rachel was still unaware of the dimension of changes that occurred between them.
Tina insisted that they go to Ben's home before leaving because last time she promised his sister that she'll visit her whenever she would come to Paris.
Ben couldn't say no to her on anything even if she would ask for his life.
They found Tim at home and Elayne came running towards them.
''Ben I knew you would come.'' she hugged him tightly.
''It is all thanks to her otherwise I wouldn't.'' Ben said joking.
''That is so mean of you.'' Tina hugged her.
''You are so nice Tina I knew it you would come to meet me. It's lonely here since mama's gone.'' she said taking them inside.
''Please I insist do send Elayne to us on vacations or whenever possible.'' Tina said when she found Tim in one corner.
''Sure. May I say something?.'' Tim was not sure whether he should tell Tina this or not. Ben was still playing with her sweet little sister and they were doing all the crazy fights siblings do.
''Yes please go ahead.''
''Is this the same Ben that visited us four years ago? I mean look at him. He's so happy confident and satisfied. Jenny was although a good match for him but you my dear was what he needed most. His mother knew this and he was always worried about it. He would often talk with me about it but now when you both had lost each other and found each other again I am sure Helena would be at peace.''
''Thank you Tim. I don't have words to reply but I am sure she will be at peace. Because we both have found ours. '' Tina sighted Ben who was really happy.
'' Come on now if both of yous chit chat is over.'' Ben and Elayne said together.
They had lunch together and Tina and Ben gave Elayne what they brought for her. She was delighted and was not letting them go. Tim wanted to drop them off to the airport but because of Elayne he didn't go.
''She's been sensitive after her mother's gone this is why I don't leave her alone.'' Tim said when Elayne was away.
''We understand completely.'' Ben said and Tina nodded.
''I will be waiting for you Elayne. Do visit me soon.'' Tina kissed her.
''I like you Tina. Ben marry her.'' Elayne said innocently and they laughed.
They were walking in the same garden where once he met his mother for the last time.
''This was the place where I talked to her for the last time, If I had came earlier we all would have so many memories but all that we have is now only one.'' he was holding his tears back.
''It's okay you can cry. It will make you easy just make sure Elayne doesn't see you. It's hard I know I lost my father too the pain was unbearable but life goes on. Your mother was a great woman when I first met her she looked like the fairy of my fairy tales. She was too kind.'' They all sat near the fountain.
''I've had many great losses in my life Tim, I know exactly how you feel.'' Tina said looking at him. He removed his glasses and wiped his eyes.
''She was restless during the last days of her life, I don't know why she was worried about you Ben. After all she kind of left you on your own for all these years but after meeting you she was upset about you. She would wander here at nights and cry.'' he paused for a moment as Elayne approached them with a tray full of juices.
''Come here honey give me this you didn't have to do all this.'' Tina took the tray from her and placed it near the fountain.
''Come on Ben I want to show you something.'' she took Ben with her and Tina and Tim were left alone.
''He is really happy with you, last time he came here Jenny was with him she was a good girl but you are perfect for him.''
Tina remained quite and after a while, ''I know it took us a lot of time to understand completely after the loss of my husband he supported me more than anyone else.'' she sighed.
''Life is all about loss and gain but we surely get the fruit after tolerance. I think it would rain today.'' Tim looked at the sky which was full of clouds.
Ben came with Elayne they both had something in their hands.
''Tina this is for you.'' she handed him a package.
''For me?'' Tina looked at the package in amusement.
It was a huge frame and it had a photo of  Ben and Helena.
A black in white photo about the time he was just a newborn.
''It's lovely thank you.'' she kissed her.
''What's that?'' Tina said to Ben who was holding something wrapped in his hand.
''It's for Ben and he is not supposed to open it now he is supposed to open it when he gets home.'' she hugged him a goodbye.
It was their departure time and they had to catch their flight back to LA.
