Albert had surrounded the place. He signaled Jamie to bring forward some men so the entrance could be cleared and he could sneak in. 

''No. Stay away from me Edmund.'' Catherine yelled and Albert heard her.
Jamie's men were still getting rid of the goons but Albert didn't wait. He came right in front a man stopped him from entering. He punched him and threw him on the floor the others were busy with Jamie's men. Another one jumped in front of him.
''Get out of my way.''
''I won't you'll have to kill me to get inside.''
He took out his sword and after a combat killed him.
He went inside where he found Edmund and Catherine. Catherine ran towards Albert. He curled her in a hug. ''Are you alright?''
''She is but you won't be why are you after me? After me in everything. Everything I like everything that I want. Now look we want the same woman, but we both can't have her. So I'll have to kill you for it.'' Edmund took out a gun.
''No.'' Catherine came in front.
''You stay a side, let me handle him. He cannot kill me even if he wishes.'' Albert pushed Catherine aside and went closer. He fired. Albert missed he was still walking towards him. Edmund fired again. By this time Jamie's man had successfully gotten rid of the goons some of them died the others fled. They had came inside. 
''Leave the gun Edmund.'' Albert taking grip of the hilt of his sword still walked towards him.
''I won't.'' he fired again but the bullets were finished. Edmund punched Albert and the sword fell. Albert punched him in the face and he fell on the ground. His nose was bleeding. He cried in pain but got up again. ''Get up you whore son and defend yourself.'' He attacked Albert again but missed and Albert punched him again in the stomach and he fell on the ground.
All the men were watching but no one had the audacity to step in their fight.
Edmund got up and hit him multiple times and this time Albert fell down but got up. He then thrashed him with many punches ending in a final smash.
''I'm leaving you alive because you are a coward and I don't fight cowards who kidnap other peoples betroths,'' He took Catherine and went outside.
''She's not your wife, She'll never will be.'' he got up and fired.
His arm was lifted by Jamie and the bullet made a hole in the roof. 
''If you allow me I can finish him right now.'' Jamie said twisting Edmund's arm. 
''No. He needs to be treated not fought. Treated for being in enmity with something which was never his and never will be. Come on Catherine.''
''This time it's because of lord Albert that I leave you otherwise the crime that you committed it's only penalty was that you died by my blade. '' Jamie spat on the ground and left.
 
''Here take this it's cold and its evening already.'' Albert covered her with his scarf.
''I don't know what happened today.'' she cried and he hugged her.
''Are you alright? did he try to touch or hit you?'' he examined her.
''It's okay. The important thing is that nothing bad happened.'' 
''What if he really did what he said to me I would've died.'' she recalled.
''As long as we are together everything's fine.'' he kissed her hands and signaled the carriage to drive.
 
''Catherine was kidnapped, you all spent the entire day dealing with stuff and I have no information.'' Victoria got up angry.
Albert was standing with his hands bruised. Catherine's look was as if she had seen a ghost. Jamie was standing with them his head bowed.
''I knew such a thing would happen, after all I persuaded Edmund to take revenge after humiliating him in his own house, Albert this is out of my control. You have given my child enemies and I cannot protect her from all of them.''
''You don't have to.'' 
''What?'' she looked at him surprised.
''Get us both married as soon as possible.'' 
Albert concealed the fact that Catherine also intended to run away.
 
                                                      
 
''Aye Sabrina coming. What did the lady asked you, aye eggs coming on the way.'' Stella wiped her forehead.
''Tis a bad day when a lady of the house is angry.''
''But why she angry? Sabrina who was leaning half inside and half outside the kitchen door dropped in the conversation.
''You not know, ha, I don't believe ya you always are stick to lady Emma and lady Eleanor.'' she rubbed her hands on the apron and handed a tray to her.
''Hey you all get back to work and don't dawdle in these affairs. If I see you poking your nose in any of madam's business I'll make sure you catch the first train in the mornin.'' she made a face sniffed and left.
''She's the one who is friends with Teresa from lady Victoria's house and I have heard she heard from Teresa that Lady Catherine was going to meet Albert when she was kidnapped.'' 
''Shhhhh.'' Stella raised eyebrows and closed the window which was facing the garden.
''She might overhear us. What a tragedy. If they both love each other then why lady Eleanor is their enemy?''
''You don't know? Lady Eleanor and Lord Albert were....''
''Be quiet now. Never mention this to anyone ever. Otherwise they'll have out tongue cut and feed them to the dogs!''
 
''I gave you the information, it was your job to take her and get away somewhere. Couldn't you find a better hideout.'' Eleanor who was in the balcony straightened up when Sabrina appeared taking a trolley.
''Very well leave.'' Eleanor said when she stood in the corner.
Edmund closed the door took out a cigarette and took out a card from his pocket and gave it to her.
Eleanor opened it and raged in flames.
''Ah, dammit. I knew you both were capable of nothing. You and this friend of yours George are nothing but petty womanizers who cannot even abduct a woman. ''
''It's never to late. I have learned from my father achieve what you want either dead or alive Catherine's mine. I'll have her sooner or later. Dead or alive.''
He took the card , took out the lighter from his pocket and burnt it.
The burning card from which only this remained
'The wedding of Albert Henry Morris and Catherine Dow-en Ayling  ....'
