Chapter twenty two:

All it takes is one minute for lives to be changed, One minute for relations to be made and names to be changed. New people entering our lives and we fall for them and move along with them. World is just the way it is. While moving forward towards many new beguiling aspects of life we have no idea how many hearts we've mend and how many have we broken.
''Its all history now.'' he whispered to himself and drove away. A girl who was not sure what she had seen was still sitting over a rock witnessing the clashes of the waves.
The night had become dense and the ceremony was over. Rachel who had sent her daughter away was the only person left sitting on the only chair left the rest had been taken by the company's men. A man approached and , ''Mame! I must take the chair if you please.'' She came back to her senses all at once. ''Yes of course.'' she got up and sighted Jenny enjoying the fight of the waves.
''What makes you sit here all by yourself. Where's Ben?'' she came closer and sat on another rock besides her.
''If I ask you something will you answer me sincerely Rachel?'' she said in a trembling voice. Rachel sensed something was fishy. ''What's the matter dear?'' her heart beating faster then ever.
Jenny raised her eyes and there was a tear sparkling in one corner of her eye.
''Ben loved Christina right?'' this question made Rachel angry and sad both at the same time. This was true but was it the right time to talk about all of this?
''I'm not going to lie to you but how did you find out? no one knew this except me. Not even Christina is aware of it.'' she sighed and looked at the moon who was being sheltered by the clouds blanket.
''Somethings can never be hidden no matter how much you try to hide them. Love's one of them. Good bye Rachel and thank you I had a great time and my good wishes to the lovely weds.'' she got up and disappeared behind the trees.

''Where are you taking me I have no idea.'' Tina said thrilled.
''Well I hope you will like it. Every one's not special like you to understand the location where I'm taking you. Till then it will be a surprise.''
''Wherever you take me it'll be paradise for me as long as you are with me.''
They reached Louisville the next day. Taylor had arranged everything in his plane. Even her clothes were inside that if she had to change from her wedding dress she could. He had every luxury provided for her. Tina had changed from her dress into a simple long gown. Taylor was already dressed and waiting for her. From there a car took them to the countryside. Tina had never seen so many lush green farms ever. Taylor showed her all the farms. ''This is greatest of all sights in the world Taylor. I love you.'' she kissed him. ''These are all yours. You can do whatever you want with them.'' ''Really?'' she said excited. ''Unless you want to make ketchup out of these tomatoes.'' he laughed and she laughed too. After they had drove miles a farmhouse was visible.
The farms structure was simple yet elegant. On Taylor's permission the gate's which were of steel and letter P was crafted over the gates were opened.
''Good morning sir.'' the gate keeper greeted Taylor.
''Morning William this is your boss. From now on wards her command is superior to mine.''
''Definitely sir welcome my lady to your farms .''
''Thank you William.'' she said thrilled.
The driver drove towards the edifice. Inside were stables and nests and other animals.
Dogs and rabbits were running towards each side. Horses were neighing. The sounds of chicken and the scent of wheat and barley. Cats were busy looking after their kittens and birds chirping. In another area cows and goats were being taken care of. The sun's shiny light and Taylor. This was a true blessed sight for a honeymoon.
''I love it. When did you decided that we should come here?'' she said with her arms around his neck.
''You liked it. I knew not every one is special like you are Tina. Women in the world find more pleasure in feigned sights and provisional emotions. Not every one is like you. This is why I love you so that very much.'' he kissed her.
''Show me the entire farm.'' she whispered in his ear.
''Right now I have some other plans in my mind.'' he said cheerfully.

Life was dull for Ben. He wanted to skip office but he had made a commitment  with his father which must be fulfilled. He wanted to escape Jenny and her intruding eyes. Those who sense and feel everything. She's so nosy and why she's always watching me with strange face.
I will have to go there's no other way. No escape at all.
He encouraged himself and went to office. Much to his dismay Jenny's office was empty. He peaked in his dad's cabin to make sure she really hadn't come to work today.
Dylan was alone in his cabin and was working on something. He didn't wanted anyone to notice his curiosity thus he went to the cabin and decided that he will come out after some time to inquire about Jenny from Angela.
The plan failed when he saw Jenny talking to Angela. He slammed himself in the door in order to hear their conversation.
Jenny heard the thud and looked at him in anger. Then she quickly passed him and slammed the door of her cabin.
Ben went inside and sat on the chair. Mixed thought were clouding his mind. He must do something. He managed to gather himself and went to Jenny.
''Come in.'' she said without looking at Ben.
''Yes?'' she asked without taking her eyes off the laptop.
''I'm the boss here shouldn't you at least have some manners about it?'' he sat on one of the chair near the desk.
''I'm listening.'' she still was focused on the laptop.
''Can we talk about all that has happened. Because I cannot beat about the bush.''
''What is there to talk about huh.'' she looked at him and then again back at the laptop.
''Well the other night I was cold and ....misbehaved with you. I want to apologize about it and many things I...''
''Listen Ben. Whatever happened was mutual. I understand but get over it. What are we teenagers? talking about one thing again and again its pointless.'' she gazed at him with anger in her eyes. She was saying that she had forgotten everything but the truth was she was enjoying his confession.
''Then why are you still mad at me?'' Ben had sensed her anger.
''Yeah right we'll talk this over in the evening I'm busy with work that your father has given me. I'll be relaxed once I'm over it.'' she again focused on the laptop.
Ben walked put of her cabin.
She then looked back at him.

''This is Angelica and Maximus. I trained them myself. Whenever I would come here for holidays.'' Taylor patted the back of the two beautiful horses one a mare the other a stallion.
Tina didn't say anything she just placed her palm over the mare's head. The mare was relieved with her touch.
''Angelica likes you already huh.'' Taylor placed his hand over hers.
''Let's ride and see who is the best rider.'' Tina challenged him.
''As you say.''
They both mounted them and began the ride. Tina had taken full speed and Maximus was flying in the air taking care of her masters weight. Taylor was almost close with Angelica taking the cover.
They rode towards the fields, then the ravine. Until Tina had won the match. Then she unmounted Maximus and kissed him.
The sun's last glow was giving the river a orange bath. Taylor came closer and took her picture.
''Why alone come we both should take our picture together.''
He came closer and Christina captured their picture.
She sat there for a while.
''Are we really married Taylor?'' she asked with delight.
''We are.'' he cupped her face in his hands.
''It's unbelievable. You and me together forever.''
''No its not for I am here. Always. You know how pretty you look.''
''You always say that.''
''I love the way you talk, I love the way you widen your eyes when you are happy. The way you love. The way you handle everything. I've fallen more and more in love with you every time you do what ever you do. I cannot imagine a life without you Christina.''
''Neither can I.''
''Let's go another evening special surprise awaits Mrs Parker.''
She got up happily and they rode back from where they had begun.

The night at countryside was different than any other nights in the city. There was peace and silence. The stars seemed as if billions or trillions in quantity. Life was so smooth in such areas. The fire pit was filled with woods and the crackling noise of fire and music was floating in the air. He had arranged a table on which food was being served. Two chairs and solitude.
The atmosphere resembled that when he had first asked her out.
The charm was there the peace was there everything was there where he was.
She came and saw him sitting beside the fire on the ground where cushions were placed. She sat beside him. He looked at her and she at him.

At a certain point at night Christina woke up and found Taylor's place empty. She reassured herself when she turned on the lamp. She was right he was not there. The house was not that big but it was constructed like the ones in the cities. She quickly came downstairs and searched the house. He was not there. She looked out of the window and a gloomy light came from the small old house on the back of the building. She took her gown and went outside. It was really cold and dog's howl was confirming that winter was here although there was still time in winter. Fall's affect on the trees were everywhere. She quietly opened the door of the old broken house. The door was in a bad condition. One thing that was troubling her like hell was what this house was and why the light was on at this time of night. She went inside and saw Taylor sitting on a chair holding a frame in his hand.
She touched his shoulder to tell him that she was here but she didn't say it in voice as she was sensing the sensitivity of his loneliness at this time of night.
He patted her hand and brought her in front of him.
She sat on his lap. She noticed that he was crying.
She took the frame from his hands in which was a photo of a woman. Not only any woman this was his mother. He had one enormous portrait of her in his living room but this was different probably of the time when she was only 16 or 17.
''What's wrong? this is your mother's picture isn't it?'' ''Nothing. Just nostalgic about something I never got over.'' he wiped his tears with the back of his hands.
''If you don't want to tell about it, it's fine I won't insist. I respect your privacy.''
''Privacy from you. Never. It's about my mother. This house you see. My parents used to live here. When my father married my mother all his fortune was this house. They both lived here happily until that day when their story became a tragedy.'' he paused for a moment.
''My mother was about to have a child but due to constant effort she had a miscarriage which changed the life of my father and he vowed he would be wealthy enough never to let the tragedy happen again. Years passed and he became wealthy enough. My mother gave birth to me and passed away. No fortune could save her.''
She held his hand and didn't say a word.
''My father never smiled after that until the day he breathed his last.''
''We'll relive their story. You and I.''
''We will never relive that story because only the thought of losing you gives me horrors.''
''No, this time it would be a blessed one. How many more days are we staying here?''
''Are you bored?''
''No I will rebuild this house and we will live here for sometime before going back.''
''No Christina don't.'' he was frightened.
''Yes it will only take a couple of days and you'll see. Come on now off to bed we have loads of work tomorrow.''
