Tina and Rachel were together during the weekend night. Taylor wanted to join them but Tina threw him out saying, ''Its girls night tonight, you can come in the morning but not right now.''

He was both angry and funny then he chuckled and said,''Okay very well but I'll get my permission too. You see.'' he started walking towards his house but his head was moving as if swaying in order to tease her.

She shut the door in a bang. ''Very funny Taylor. Mom you have really given him more importance than me this is why he is teasing me.'' she jumped on the couch and the popcorn came out of the bowl on her pajamas. Rachel smiled and sighed, ''He is just like my son. The day he marries you and you will be living across the street in front of my eyes I will come flying when ever I miss one of your childish acts honey.''

''That's not fair mom, I was talking about Taylor and you made it all hysterical. Remember mom, I am your daughter. This fact will never change even if I marry or I don't. You don't have to miss me in order to come flying towards me, I shall be there in your service first.'' she smiled and hugged her mother.

''I love you Tina, You have taken so much after your father. If he were alive today he would be so proud of you.''

''Oh yes he would.'' a familiar sound appeared from behind and they both gasped in shock.

''My goodness what the hell Taylor.'' Tina jumped from the sofa as if she was electrified.  

''Well it's your fault you threw me out and mom gave me spare keys to come in when ever I like. Is there a weekend movie ever complete without a family?'' he sat on the sofa and began to enjoy popcorn. 

Rachel smiled.

''Ah an affair to remember is my favorite movie.'' Taylor said and Tina gave in.

After they finished the movie Tina and Taylor were awake but Rachel had fallen asleep on the couch. Taylor brought a blanket and covered her with it and later both of them went to Tina's bedroom.

''You have no idea how you have changed my life. You as a wife, Rachel as a mother and Ben as a friend.'' he was saying and Tina recalled the day when she saw Ben with that girl on the airport.

She lifted her head from his shoulder and looked at him then said, ''Taylor I saw a girl with Ben the day I went to drop him off at the airport. I have never seen her before with Ben.'' 

''He might have met her just now and maybe he wanted her to meet you but he did not get the chance. There's a wedding on the way. You know what date it is today?'' He came closer and kissed her.

''I know exactly what date it is today and only seventeen days are left.'' she said and turned off the light.

 

                                                                           

 

''Mom I never told her the way I feel about her. Never. I too never considered this overwhelming thrill that I had when she was with me to any importance. Until she fell in love with another guy and now they are getting married. I wish her all the happiness in the world. A world which she will have eventually and I will not be the part of it.'' he sobbed.

''Unrequited love is one of the most painful of all. There's only this feeling that will hurt us and nothing else will come out of it. Even then we must live and be happy and lead a good life my boy.'' she tapped his back.

The wind was getting fast. Some drops of the fountain's water was splashing over their apparels due to the wind's pressure.

''I have been there and now I am here. I loved your father more than anything in this world. I still remember when I told my dad, your grandfather that I wanted to marry him. He became so angry. He opposed my decision because he thought that this is not a good decision that I would not be happy with Dylan. Later he agreed and we married right here in this city. The first two years of our marriage were the dreams of mine. Later the fear of my father came true and I witnessed the moral judgement of my father. I loved him, he loved his empire. You came and things turned good for a while only to be more worse later.'' she paused and began to cry.

''Mom its over now you are happy and have a great life. My father regrets each day because his life is so shallow.'' Ben held her arm.

She laughed and laughed for sometime.

''No I am sure he got what he always wanted. He wanted to be the wealthiest man. He is.''

''Why didn't you ever called me or came to see me?'' Ben finally said the thing that was troubling him since he received the letters of Helena from Dylan.

She looked at him and then said, ''Dylan never wanted me to interfere in your upbringing. He wanted you to be a American not a French. After our divorce I filed a case for your custody but he won. Later he made me make a promise on legal accounts that I will not visit you without his permission and you cannot leave the country without his permission. I was devastated when I returned to Paris. Your grandfather would do anything to bring you to me but I didn't let him. Inside I always knew you would find me one day. You did. Do you have any idea how happy I am tonight. Its just like the day I got married to Dylan.''

Ben looked at the moon who was hiding behind the shadow of the clouds.

''Tim is a good man I really like him.'' Ben kissed Helena's hand.

''He takes care of me and I respect him. He loves me.''

''And you?'' Ben was confused by her mother's saying.

''I only loved your father and that resulted in disaster. I have no courage to love again.''

''You must live your life as the man your father raised you not like a heartbroken drunkard fool. You understand me.'' Helena got up and cupped his face in her hands.

From far Tim and Elayne were approaching.

''Its getting cold you guys must get inside and have some coffee or drink.'' Tim said to them.

''Well thank you Tim but we must get going its late.'' Ben said sighting the time.

''No not that early you just came.'' fifteen year old Elayne held Ben's arm.

Ben looked at her and said, ''I will definitely come again to visit my sweet sister. Till then here's something for you.'' he took out a wrapped box from his pocket.

''What was this for son?''  Helena was reacting like a cheapskate.

''Mom dad its an iphone.'' Elayne was excited she came and gave Ben a kiss on the cheek.

''You are the best brother ever.''

''Thank you mom for everything. I love you.'' he hugged her mother tight and then Tim.

''Although I still want the two of you to stay with us for the night.'' Tim who was accompanying him to the gate said.

''I had the most wonderful time thank you all of you. By the way where's Jenny?'' Ben looked around for her.

''I'm right here.'' she was standing near the gate.

''You are the most extraordinary host. I loved your company. With this hope I leave that we all shall meet again.'' Jenny hugged Helena. Then Elayne.

''We hope that too my dear. Take care of this silly son of mine for me.'' Helena waved at her.

''I will. Goodbye.''

''Just a moment dear can we have a minute?'' Helena said looking at them.

''Sure.'' all three of them walked away.

''Listen Benjamin is that girl your childhood friend then one who came here with her mother?''

Ben looked at his mother in shock. Damn mothers know everything how can they are they magicians or did God gave them access to our minds? No one can answer this question. Ben was standing like a stone as if electrified. 

''Yes she is Christina.'' 

''Don't be sad cheer up you deserve the world and already have it. Just discover it. I can only show the way this discovery must be carried out by you. Take care of yourself. God I don't know why I am feeling this way. As if I will never see you again. Let me get the best of you.'' she hugged him and then kissed him on the forehead.

 

The following day Jenny had given Ben a surprise by inviting Helena to the airport to see them off.

''Wait is that mom? '' he said shocked and gave Jenny the look.

''What.'' she said irritated.

''I came here to see you off. You would never let me but thanks to Jenny. She told me all about it last night at dinner.'' Helena took Jenny's hand and tapped it slightly.

Ben was looking at her as if he was giving her a warning, Helena who sensed that look over Ben's face said after that,

''You are no good at goodbyes. This is why you do not wanted me to come here but I couldn't resist myself. I just cant get enough of you my dear Ben. Just take care of yourself.'' she hugged him and Ben was emotional.

This is why he didn't want Helena to come over. It was way hard for him to leave her. Even more then her.

''Keep coming the both of you.'' Helena hugged Jenny.

''Your son needs a shoulder to cry on now that he is emotional. Goodbye Helena till we meet again.'' Jenny said and they both disappeared in the crowd.

 

                                                                           

 

''Ah there we are. I am so tired.'' Jenny said almost throwing her luggage at Ben.

''Me too. I'll go to eat something first. Want to join me?''. Ben who did not inform or called back Tina who had been calling her from the time he reached Paris still wanted his space and some time to build his castle of iron. Save himself enough strength for the days to come and mostly forget about everything at-least for now.

''Are you flirting with me now. By the way what about your house and work, go home boy.'' she jumped in the cab.

''I will but from tomorrow you will be joining me in the office.''

Then he told the cabbie a nice restaurant's name and they went there.

It was evening and the places were not yet thronged to their peaks. They both sat near the window and the passers by were moving towards there directions. It was end of September and the weather was great. Neither cold nor hot mostly like the one in Paris.

''What will you have?''. Ben adjusted his chair and asked her.

''Whatever you are having.'' she then looked around.

She saw a blonde haired girl arriving in full speed towards their table.

Although it was obvious from her clothes and face she was not a good type.

''My dear Benjamin, who's this new short?'' she looked at Jenny with lowliness.

Jenny didn't answer her and turned to Ben for explanation. Ben who was embarrassed like hell began to speak in very low voice, ''Listen Cassy why don't you understand are you mad or something, its over. stop following me like a nutcase. Get out from here. Leave me alone. Its none of you damn bloody business to come to me and ask me about the people I am with.'' his speech was enough for Jenny to understand the whole case of the strange woman and Ben.

Cassy who was wearing a shorts that resembled a knicker more than a shorts grew red from anger. Then she sighted Jenny for a moment and said, ''He is a jerk. Stay away from him. He the most reckless piece of shit you would ever meet.'' then she started taking big steps and went out of the restaurant.

Jenny who was still watching the door she left from sighed after the attendant brought the order.

''What a day.'' Jenny raised eyebrows.

''Damn it, you must be thinking so lowly about me right now. This was the worst event of my life I would regret forever.'' he took out some cheese from the plate and placed it in his burger.

''Everyone comes across mad cases like that once in their lives. I understand don't be embarrassed.'' she was eating with delight.

''I will introduce you to someone after meeting whom you won't think that lowly of me.'' he said. When he thought of Christina a smile appeared over his face. Even the thought of her were enough for him to bright his day. Jenny sensed the specialty of the person he was talking about.

''Sure.'' she said and opened her mouth wide for the double Decker burger.
